The Health & Safety department supports colleagues in making health and safety an integral part of scientific research.
Health & Safety at AMOLF
AMOLF’s management attaches great importance to a healthy and safe working environment. Colleagues are encouraged to make health and safety an integral part of conducting scientific research.
The Occupational Health, Safety and Environment department supports colleagues by developing methods and working practices tailored to scientific research.
By addressing health, safety, and environmental issues proactively, time and costs can be saved in the day-to-day running of the organization without compromising legal obligations. Ultimately, this enables greater scientific output to be achieved with the same resources.
Management, the Works Council, and employees receive advice from two occupational health and safety professionals and eleven prevention officers.
