What is AMOLF?

FOM Institute AMOLF is one of the research laboratories of the Foundation for Fundamental Research on Matter (FOM), the physics division of the Dutch National Science Foundation (NWO). AMOLF employs about 130 research staff and 50 support staff. AMOLF's yearly budget is 12 million euro. The institute is located in Science Park Amsterdam.
