From 21-25 June, the Fourth International Conference on Surface Plasmon Photonics (SPP4) was held in Amsterdam, organized by AMOLF and chaired by AMOLF group leader Kobus Kuipers.
SPP4 brought together over 360 plasmonics experts from across the globe, both junior and senior, both from academia and industry to exchange their latest scientific findings and set the agenda for future developments in the field. The topics included fundamental science, nanophotonics, nanofabrication and applications of plasmonic (nano)structures, such as biosensors for health care or light concentration for solar energy, and optical instrumentation for performing state-of-the-art research.
