Sander Tans nominated for "Science & Society Prize 2008"

AMOLF group leader Dr. Sander Tans is nominated for the "Science & Society Prize 2008".

With his research "Molecular origami" he is part of a group of seven final nominees.
The winner of the "Science & Society Prize 2008" will be announced on November 3rd during the Evening of Science & Society in the Ridderzaal in the Hague. The winner will receive a small statue made specifically for this prize and get nationwide media attention. In addition, the winner will receive 25.000 euro to be spent on research activities.
