Scientific career Yves Rezus
I studied chemistry and science at the University of Nijmegen and I did my PhD at AMOLF with Huib Bakker. For my PhD research I studied the ultrafast dynamics of water molecules around hydrophobic compounds. In 2008 I received the Andries Miedema prize for the best thesis in condensed matter physics. My postdoc research with Vahid Sandoghdar (Nano-Optics group) at ETH Zurich involved quantum optical experiments with single-molecule light sources.
