Jobs & Internships AMOLF
AMOLF provides a dynamic research environment, with excellent technical and administrative support facilities. Because of the relatively small size of the institute (180 employees) there is strong interaction, both professionally and socially, between the different research and support groups at the institute.
AMOLF has a strong network of alumni that can be of help to find you your next job after working at AMOLF. Please choose PhD, Postdoc, Support or internships on the left to see the current job openings at AMOLF.
Working at AMOLF
AMOLF is a research institute of approximately 115 scientists, 15 research technicians, 20 engineers in technical support divisions, and 30 supporting staff. The research division is split in 17 research groups, each led by a scientific group leader that carries full responsibility for the group.
A group is composed of PhD students, postdocs, master students, and a research technician; the total group size is typically 5-10 people. The relatively small group size enables direct contact between the group leader and group members on a regular basis.
The technical support divisions are: Software design, Electronics design, Mechanical design and Mechanical workshop. These groups provide technical support for the experimental groups, and operate in strong collaboration with these groups. The technical support groups regularly have vacancies as well.
AMOLF has positions for internships for university students that want to carry out a masters research project. Presently, AMOLF has vacancies for scientific group leaders.
